Introduction
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Matsunoya Foods LLC ("we", "us") handles user information in connection with our service "MapBoost" (the "Service"). By using the Service, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide the Service:
- Account & contact information: your LINE or Telegram user ID, store name, language, and settings such as business category, area, keywords and average ticket, and the content of your inquiries.
- Google account data: when you connect your Google account (OAuth), information used to manage your Google Business Profile (store/location information, posts, reviews, insights, etc.).
- Payment information: subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number or other payment credentials.
- Usage data: your activity in the Service, content you generate or publish, and error logs.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service (MEO automation such as generating and publishing posts, replying to reviews, MEO diagnostics and reports).
- To respond to your inquiries and send you important notices.
- To bill fees and manage your subscription.
- To prevent misuse and ensure security.
- To comply with applicable laws.
Google User Data (Limited Use)
The Service's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs (including the Google Business Profile APIs) adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Specifically, we use Google Business Profile data only to provide user-facing features of the Service (such as posts, review replies and analytics reports). We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties. We do not transfer this data to others except as necessary to provide the Service, to comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent. Humans do not read this data except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
Sharing & Sub-processors
We use the following third-party services to the extent necessary to provide the Service. Each provider handles information in accordance with its own privacy policy:
- Google LLC (Google Business Profile integration)
- LY Corporation (LINE) / Telegram (message delivery)
- Stripe, Inc. (payment processing)
- Google (AI text generation via the Gemini API, etc.)
- Hosting and database providers (Vercel, Inc. / Supabase, etc.)
Other than the above, we do not provide personal information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Service. You may at any time disconnect your Google account, cancel the Service, or request deletion of your data.
You can also revoke Google access from your Google Account security settings. To request deletion of your data, please contact us using the details at the end of this Policy. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against leakage, loss or damage.
International Data Transfers
In providing the Service, information may be processed on servers located outside Japan. In such cases we protect information in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
Minors
The Service is intended for businesses and is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as necessary. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or on this website.
